New Board Members appointed.

We are pleased to announce the appointment of two new Board Members to the Lisa Fahey Foundation — Georgia Naylon and Amelia Fahey.

Georgia (pictured left) is currently General Manager, Transformation at the Lutheran Homes Group, where she leads a significant portfolio of organisation-wide initiatives and works closely with executive leadership and boards. She brings extensive experience across transformation, strategy, governance, and organisational change within the aged care and community sector.

Speaking about her appointment, Georgia said: “I am excited to join the Board of the Lisa Fahey Foundation and contribute to a cause so clearly focused on support, connection, and meaningful impact. With a background in transformation, strategy, and leading large-scale organisational change within the aged care and community sector, I am passionate about building strong foundations that genuinely improve people’s experiences and outcomes. I look forward to bringing a combination of strategic thinking and governance to support the Foundation’s continued growth and future direction.”

We are also excited to officially welcome Amelia Fahey to the Board. As Lisa Fahey’s daughter, Amelia has been closely involved with Foundation initiatives for many years, particularly over the last five years, and we are thrilled to have her formally join the team.

Amelia is looking forward to supporting the Board through governance, risk management, grant development and submissions, as well as representing the Foundation externally through community engagement opportunities. She is passionate about helping the Foundation continue to support those in need, while also expanding fundraising opportunities to strengthen the organisation’s ability to help others, particularly during ongoing cost-of-living pressures.

We are delighted to welcome both Georgia and Amelia to the Board and look forward to the experience, insight, and leadership they will bring as the Foundation continues to grow its impact in the community.
