Using this site
lisafahey.org.au is run by Lisa Fahey Foundation Incorporated (ABN 92 215 225 052). By using it you agree to these terms. We may update them from time to time; the current version is always on this page, with the date it last changed.
Everything on the site is for personal, non-commercial use. You're welcome to share pages and link to us. Please ask before reproducing our text, photographs, the chook or other artwork elsewhere: email hello@lisafahey.org.au.
We do our best to keep the site accurate and available but can't promise it will always be error-free or online. Nothing on the site is professional, financial, medical or legal advice.
Getting help from the Foundation
The Foundation helps families through referrals from hospital social workers only. Nothing on this site is an offer of assistance, and we can't respond to requests made directly to us. How we help explains the process.
Donations
Donations are processed by Stripe on the Foundation's behalf. When you donate you'll be taken to a secure Stripe payment page; we never see or store your card details. Gifts of $2 or more are tax deductible in Australia and we email a receipt straight away. Please check the amount before you confirm, as we can't always reverse a payment once it's been made.
Monthly gifts (The Flock) are charged to your card on the same day each month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time, online, at lisafahey.org.au/manage; the link is also in every receipt email. Cancellation takes effect before your next payment. To change the amount, cancel and start a new gift, or email hello@lisafahey.org.au and we'll do it for you. There are no minimum terms, notice periods or cancellation fees.
Refunds
Donations are gifts and are generally not refundable. If you've made a mistake, such as the wrong amount or a duplicate payment, email hello@lisafahey.org.au within 14 days and we'll refund it to the original card. We refund fraudulent or unauthorised transactions when we become aware of them. Refunds are made through Stripe and usually appear within five to ten business days.
Events, raffles and merchandise
Tickets, raffles and any merchandise are sold under the terms published with each event or campaign, including any conditions required by the Foundation's South Australian fundraising licence (CCP2689). Where the site links to a third-party ticketing or raffle platform, that platform's terms also apply.
Links to other sites
We link to other organisations, such as partner hospitals, the ACNC register and Cancer Australia. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content or how they handle your information.
Your information
How we collect and use personal information is set out in our Privacy Policy.
Behaviour
Please don't do anything that interferes with the site or the systems behind it, including attempting to access the editing tools or payment systems without permission.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, the Foundation isn't liable for any loss arising from your use of the site or reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of South Australia.
